MapR services produce metrics that can be written to an output file or consumed by Ganglia. The file metrics output is directed by the hadoop-metrics.properties files.

Setting Up Service Metrics

This following procedures can be used to enable or disable service metrics for MapR-FS and CLDB. For information on configuring service metrics or disabling MRv1 job metrics, see hadoop-metrics.properties.
